Water has emerged as an issue of utmost global and national importance. Much has been written about the diminishing availability of safe, fresh water for direct human consumption as well as agriculture as the population continues to rise. Yet there is no national dialogue in which citizens can stay informed while they, in turn, inform policy makers that plans for the future must take into account current projections that, in the near future, we will run out.
